Tina Turner’s real name is Anna May Bullock. She was born in the provincial city of Natbush, Tennessee in a simple family. Her first stage was the local church choir. Anna had no friends – no one wanted to be friends with the Monkey, as the neighboring boys called her. She was the smallest and slender at school, for which she received such a nickname. The radio saved her from loneliness, the girl knew all the hits by heart.
