How to tune a piano? Each owner of an instrument asks this question sooner or later, because a fairly regular game knocks his system in a year; after the same time, the setup becomes literally necessary. In general, the longer you put it off, the worse for the instrument itself. Piano tuning is certainly a must. The point here is not only an aesthetic moment, but also a pragmatic one. Incorrect tuning significantly affects the pianist’s musical ear, wearying and dulling it, and also interfering with the correct perception of notes in the future (you have to put up with dirty sound), which threatens professional unsuitability. Of course, the use of the services of a professional tuner is always preferable – self-taught people often use insufficiently high-quality instruments, or even knowing how to tune a piano, they are simply careless about work, which entails corresponding consequences.
